My brother Verl, called me today and told me that our older brother Ivan H Brimhall, died today, In his home in Salt Lake City, while he was sleeping, this morning.
Yesterday a wisper came to me that Ivan would see our Mom and Dad before I would. A spirit whispering often feel like a soft thought.
I love my Mom and Dad and miss them to.
Ivan and Grace would drive from Salt Lake City to Grantsville to visit with me once in a while. The last two times, they were here, Ivan had lost a lot of weight. The last time he came, I weighted more than he did.
One time he had said that he didn't like the Huntsman Hospital, because people who go in there get cancer, and he was not going back there.
I learned the last time I visited with him that he had been going to the Temple, which pleased me greatly. He never came out and told you things, you just picked them up in the conversation.Ivan's funeral will be on Thursday, March 23, at 11:00 Am with a viewing before at 9:30 AM.
At Riverside 1st Ward building, in Salt Lake City, the ward that Ivan attended. Also a viewing Wednesday evening in the same building.
His burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Both Verl and myself will be at the funeral. I was asked to give the opening prayer.
Bob has chosen to stay in Arizona. (Note: No one knew, Bob was ill himself, and had told no one in our family. He passed away July 24 2017, in Ogden Utah.)
